American Divers International (ADI) is a small, family owned business.  It has existed for over 35 years only because of the great support of our loyal, local customers.  Everyone who works and teaches at ADI lives with their family in our community.

We recognize that our products can be purchased elsewhere, possibly for less. But ask yourself if the internet can provide these services:

The reason discount stores and internet equipment sources can sell dive equipment "cheaper" is because they do not provide these basic needs for scuba divers, thereby reducing the cost of running their business. These businesses are not concerned about you as a diver, they are simply concerned about making a buck.

More importantly, our staff is someone from your community - not a faceless voice on the phone or a generic "shopping cart" on your computer screen. A full staff costs money; additionally, our overhead as a small business is more than a discount chain or internet sales source because of the additional services we provide to you at little to no additional cost.
