Journey with Gentle Giants is the only program in the world where you are guaranteed to SCUBA dive with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark!

Join American Divers as we experience “Journey with Gentle Giants”. This is a thirty minute SCUBA dive in the 6.3 million gallon Georgia aquarium, making it one of the world’s largest indoor aquatic habitats. With depths ranging from 20 to 30 feet, this habitat is home to thousands of animals that are found throughout the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. You will be in the water alongside whale sharks, manta rays, schools of jacks, stingrays, enormous giant grouper, and several species of sharks. The water temperature is maintained at about 76° F. The program lasts about 2.5 hours.

Aquarium Admission Includes:

•Orientation on the exhibit and the animals

•All SCUBA equipment (personal mask, snorkel & wrist computer allowed)

•General admission to the Aquarium (including Aquanaut Adventure: A Discovery Zone, Under the Boardwalk, and AT&T Dolphin Celebration) a souvenir t-shirt, and a group photo.

•Distinctive Specialty Certification with card (Whale Shark OR Manta Ray). student manual, collector’s pin, wristband, and additional time in the water for a more intimate experience with the animals.
